Our History
The Nour Al-Sham Foundation was established in 2013 through the individual efforts of a group of Syrian brothers. It began its work in liberated northern Syria under the name of the Ahl Al-Sham Association. It has had a positive impact in Idlib and all areas of northern Syria through the distinguished charitable, health, development, and advocacy projects it launched and successfully implemented.
After God blessed us with the liberation of Syria from the oppressive gang, the association's headquarters moved to Damascus and it was officially licensed under the name Nour Al-Sham Foundation in Damascus Governorate, pursuant to Decision No. 1933 issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on May 20, 2025.
Our ambition is to leave a distinctive mark that will help rebuild the new Syria, God willing.
